The fine print
The Micro Enterprise reward of $500 is paid once, after the client completes 12 months on flow. Micro Enterprise clients don't count toward your rate.
SME's and Enterprise rewards are a share of the plan fees the client pays. Your starting rate is set by how many SME's and Enterprise clients you bring in the same calendar year: 5% for one, 0.5% more for each one after, and 10% at ten or more. Every client you bring that year gets that rate.
Each year a client stays active, their rate halves, until halving would take it under 2.5%. A client on 10% earns 10%, then 5%, then 2.5%. A client on 5% earns 5%, then 2.5%.

What do I earn for a Micro Enterprise client?

How is my rate for SME's and Enterprise clients set?
By how many SME's and Enterprise clients you bring in the same calendar year: 5% for one, 0.5% more for each one after, and 10% at ten or more.
If I reach a higher rate later in the year, do my earlier clients move up?
Yes. Every SME's and Enterprise client you bring in a year gets the rate you reach that year.
Do Micro Enterprise clients count toward my rate?
No. Only SME's and Enterprise clients count, and the count starts again each calendar year.
How long do I keep earning from a client?
Every year they stay active. Each year their rate halves, until halving would take it under 2.5%. A client on 10% earns you 10%, then 5%, then 2.5%. A client on 5% earns you 5%, then 2.5%.
What happens to last year's clients when I bring new ones?
They carry on down their own rate. New clients start fresh on this year's rate, so in any year you can be earning from clients at different rates.
What if a client leaves?
Rewards follow the client while they're active, so they stop when the client leaves. A Micro Enterprise client needs to complete 12 months for the $500 reward.
